The Clerk's Office Invites YOUR Opinion

The Clerk's Office of the District Court for the Northern District of California is engaged in strategic planning; an important component of which is key stakeholder input and feedback. As one of our most important customers, your ideas, suggestions, and feedback regarding our services are vitally important to the process. We ask that you please take this opportunity to shape the Clerk's Office's future goals and objectives by responding to the two brief attached surveys, which will only take a few minutes to complete. The surveys will be open until September 28, 2009. If, however, you miss this window of opportunity to communicate with us we invite you to contact us at any time to provide comment on any aspect of the Clerk's Office's operations.

We look forward to hearing from you about how we can best meet your needs.

Thank you for your time and interest.

From time to time, this court sends out optional surveys in order to improve our service and/or gather information. If you have received an email from the court asking you to fill in a survey, please check that the sender email address ends in "uscourts.gov", as this should indicate it is legitimate. If you are still concerned and wish to verify, please feel free to contact the ECF Helpdesk at ecfhelpdesk@cand.uscourts.gov, or call 866-638-7829 (9-4, M-F).

We are utilizing SurveyMonkey, an online surveying tool which saves the court time and taxpayer dollars developing surveys. SurveyMonkey was started in 1999 and is based in Portland, Oregon USA. You can view their published Anti-Spam Policy, Terms of Use, Privacy Statement and Security Provisions on their website at http://www.surveymonkey.com.

In order to guarantee anonymity, no personal information is asked in most court surveys. When it would be beneficial for the court or the survey respondent to provide some personal information (such as an email address or zip code), these questions are optional. The court does not use any of the data gathered for any other purpose than for which the survey was intended and all results are kept confidential.

If you would rather not submit any data online, you can still fill in the survey online, don't click submit, then print it out by typing Ctrl-P, and mailing it in to the address above.

Thank you very much for your anticipated participation.
