LAW CLERK
for Magistrate Judge Bernard Zimmerman, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California,
San Francisco Division
Duties include legal research, analysis and writing. Qualified applicants will have a J.D. or LLB from an ABA-accredited law school, class standing in top 25%, a commitment to public service and an interest in litigation. Law review membership is preferred but not required. One to three years practice experience is helpful but not required.
This is a one-year term position available beginning approximately September 15, 2008. Applications accepted until March 5, 2008. Interviews will be conducted throughout March 2008. Minimum salary is $63,811, ranging upward according to experience, DOE.
