Clerk's Office Now Accepting Payments By Credit Card

Effective September 1, 2009, the Clerk’s Office of the Northern District of California will start accepting over the counter payments by credit card and debit card for all court fees, including criminal debt and criminal and civil bonds. The following credit and debit cards will be accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card. Credit card payments may be made at the Intake counters of the Clerk's Office in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. Credit card payments are not accepted through the mail, telephone or internet.
