The Northern District Court Practice Program offers continuing legal education programs throughout the year on a variety of topics and practice areas: Civil Procedure; Criminal Law; Patent Law; Securities Law; Removal Jurisdiction; ADR and more. Filled with practical and substantive information, and with the perspective of sitting federal court judges, these programs are generally inexpensive or free and offer MCLE credit.

So far this year we have offered:

An Introduction to Federal Court for newer lawyers; and

An evening with NYT Supreme Court correspondent Linda Greenhouse;

Upcoming programs for 2007 include:

How to get the most for your client out of ADR, sponsored by the Court’s award winning ADR program staff;

E-Discovery Rules and the Judge’s perspective on them; and

Our ever popular Patent Roundtable program where the judges, patent professors and practitioners give you cutting edge tips on Patent Practice with an opportunity to ask questions.
