Information & Application for Pro Tem Court Reporters
This page provides information, including application procedures, for prospective pro tem court reporters interested in entering into a "Blanket Purchase Agreement" or "BPA" to provide contract court reporting services for the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
We welcome applications from qualified court reporters year-round. Because our level of need for contract court reporting services changes often, the Court may enter into one or more BPAs at any given time, or none. Please note that the amount of work available under a BPA varies considerably, and the award of a BPA does not guarantee any minimum amount of work.
Court reporters interested in applying should carefully review the Statement of Work, including the minimum qualifications required, the court’s maximum transcript fee rates, and the BPA terms and conditions:
Questions about the application process or about working as a pro tem court reporter in the Northern District, please contact the Court Reporter Supervisor for the division in which you are interested.
Submit completed applications to email@example.com.
