Potential jurors are advised that during the COVID-19 public health emergency, the court began emailing supplemental juror questionnaires through SurveyMonkey in order to minimize the time prospective jurors must spend in the courthouse. These questionnaires are identifiable by the email subject line “ACTION REQUIRED: Juror Questionnaire for the Northern District of California” and are a legitimate communication from the court. If you opted in for text messages from the court, you may also receive a text with a link to the SurveyMonkey questionnaire. Potential jurors are required to respond and follow the directions given in the questionnaire.
