The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California is seeking a Courtroom Deputy Clerk in San Francisco, California. The courtroom deputy clerk provides administrative support in and out of the courtroom for District Court Judge Rita Lin. This position calls for accuracy, diplomacy, and sensitivity in dealing with judges, attorneys, members of government agencies, and the general public. Successful courtroom deputy clerks work with meticulous attention to detail, create systems to organize and prioritize tasks, and communicate with calm and confidence. The Financial Specialist assists in performing and coordinating administrative, technical, and professional work related to financial and accounting activities of the court, including compliance with appropriate guidelines, policies, and internal controls.
